I just learned that David LeBeck ~photoscot (https://www.deviantart.com/photoscot) passed away a few days ago. I've drawn inspiration from many artists from dA over the years, but I got quite a bit from David.  We only knew each other online, and we haven't chatted in years, but he was helpful to me when I was getting ready to work with models.  One thing I learned from him is that concepts don't have to be super complex to get good photography.  My favorite series of his was "Chillin' with Betcee May", where all they did was talk for a few hours in a mostly empty room and take pictures.
